BBQ LiL Smokies 

You Will Need

  • 1 Large Package Little Smokies

  • 1 24 oz Bottle Ketchup

  • 1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar

  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar

  • 2 TBS Mustard Powder

  • 2 TBS Liquid Smoke

  • 2 ts Pepper

  • 1 Cup Water

  • 2 TBS Onion Powder

What Are Little Smokies?

You might know these little guys as cocktail sausages or cocktail weenies. Little Smokies are miniature smoked pork sausages that are found in the refrigerated meat section of most grocery stores. Walmart, Kroger's, Costco, Etc They are as easy to prepare, You can boil, fry or microwave them. Or, as in this recipe here Instant Pot them in a tasty sauce, or in a crock pot and serve hot. Add them Macaroni and Cheese (delish!)

Because they are bite-sized, they make perfect appetizers. They also make an easy dinner or lunch, Add little smokes to Macaroni and cheese, Pasta salads, or simply wrap in bacon and bbq.. 

What goes well with Little Smokies?

Can you eat little smokes raw?

Of course you can!  They are amazing! Slice them in half and put on crackers with cheese for an amazing appetizer.  Add them to our Home made Southern  Macaroni and cheese

These Instant pot little smokies are amazing, made with homemade bbq sauce and perfect for tailgating, parties, and football season! Directions

  • Add All ingredients to you instant pot

  • (add LG package of little smokies last)

  • Place your lid on.

  • Select Manual high pressure for 20 min.

  • Instant Release.  

  • Once your pressure value goes down, Carefully

  • Open your lid away from you, and                                                                                                                                      Enjoy~
