Instant Pot Macaroni and cheese

This Southern mac and cheese is a Instant Pot Favorite. What's not to love? This macaroni dish is made with two types of cheese, milk and seasonings. It’s super easy to make and can easily be doubled or tripled to feed a larger crowd or very hungry kids! and aren't we all kids by heart? You can never go wrong with a cheesy pipping hot dish of homemade macaroni and cheese.

You Will Need

16 oz Elbo Macaroni 

5 Cups Water
1 Stick Butter
1/4 Block Velveeta Cheese
1 cup fiesta Shredded Cheese (divided)
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper

1 cup Milk

Place Macaroni and water into your instant pot, place your lid on, make sure you are on sealing and not venting, press manual (or pressure cook) for 12 min.When your timer goes off wait for your pressure button to go down and open lid.

Add Butter, Velveeta cheese, 1/2 shredded cheese, salt, pepper

and milk. Mix well

yes, and I do for this recipe, when added with Velveeta cheese, it makes a rich creamy sauce. 

Stove Top macaroni and cheese

Cook Macaroni according to package directions

Drain

Add all ingredients and mix well

Place in a baking dish and top with extra cheese

Turn on broil until cheese turns a golden brown about 2 or 3 min
