Dinner In A Salad
Everything about this Dinner in a salad is amazing, from the pasta, to the apples, right down to the home made salad dressing , which brings it straight over the top delicious! In fact, my husband stated "this is the best salad, I have ever had in my life!" Now there's a compliment! Give it a try you won't be disappointed in this one, and it's so easy to make. Instant pot directions are below but you can make t his one on your stove top too!
In a bowl mix together Real Mayonnaise, salad dressing, Soy Sauce, Sugar, ,Garlic Salt, and Black Pepper (mix well) Set in refrigerator covered.
Cut bacon into bite sized pieces, turn your saute on, and fry bacon to desired crispness. I did mine till browned but soft. Drain when done, set aside to cool.
Next wash instant pot insert, place 3 large eggs into your instant pot with water, place your lid on, make sure you are on sealing and not venting, press manual (or pressure cook) and set your timer for 10 min. When done instant release.
Peel and chop 2 eggs , peel the other one and use for garnishing. (set aside)
Next, add medium shell Ronzoni to your instant pot, (use water from eggs) place your lid on and set your timer for 10 min (make sure you are on sealing and not venting. Instant release, drain pasta and let cool completely. (set aside)
To a large bowl add cooled bacon, diced sharp cheddar cheese, pasta, cherry tomatoes, diced apple (I peeled mine), sliced salad cucumbers, pepper rings, and classic salad mix, and 2 chopped eggs. (save the last one for garnishing.) Add dressing. If you wish you can also add onion, and olives. Mix well.
Cut Prosciutto-Wrapped mozzarella cheese in half, place as pictured, slice your last egg in half and place half in the center (press egg down) take the other half and slice, Place as as shown.

1 1/2 Cup Real Mayonnaise
1/2 Cup Salad Dressing Mayonnaise
2 TBSP Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 TBSP Garlic Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
For The Salad
3 large eggs (divided)
1/2 pound bacon (cut into bite sized pieces)
1 12 oz package Iceberg Classic Salad
1 1/2 Cup Pasta Shells (medium)
2 Cups Water
5 Mini Sweet Peppers cut into rings (red, yellow, orange)
25 Cherry Tomatoes
2 Salad Cucumbers (sliced)
1/2 block Sharp Cheddar Cheese Diced
1 Package prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella (cut in half)
1 Green Apple (peeled and diced into bite sized pieces)
Optional- olives and onions
Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Prosciutto wrapped mozzarella
sweet mini bell peppers
Classic Iceberg Salad
