How to make tender chicken breast in your instant pot. I will show you how to do just that. This is my favorite way to make a chicken breast. They come out so moist and tender with outstanding flavor.  Great for salads, shredded chicken. Make big batches to freeze and enjoy the benefits of having it on hand ready to use in your favorite recipes. It's so easy to do.

  1. It's so easy!~ Just dump, start and go, or you can sear them first, let the pressure release naturally, open the lid and you have a fast, super easy, dinner or perfectly cooked chicken for salads and sandwiches for the week. (make a-head lunches)

  2. Make ahead and freeze in quart sized freezer bags,  then reheat as needed for sandwiches (hot or cold) and salads, but it’s also awesome tossed into a soup, a pasta, or any casserole, and can be easily reheated with a sauce of your choosing. It's perfect for chicken and dumplings!

  3. This seasoning blend and cooking method works just as well for a combination or breasts and thighs — if you have a chicken thigh lover,(as I do)  toss in some boneless, skinless chicken thighs with your breasts and you'll make everyone happy.

  4. Don’t throw out the cooking liquid! Add it to soups or thicken it with corn starch and water,  to make our Bacon and Onion Gravy.

You Will Need

  • 4 Chicken Breast

  • (I've done up to 16) same time

  • 2 TBS Italian Spice Blend 

  • if you use more chicken breast use 2 TBS per 4 Breast

  • 1 1/2 Cups Water

 

Notes: To make chicken moist, add a tablespoon of butter on each chicken piece. Great for extra flavor and moisture!

Directions

  • Season chicken with the Our Zesty Italian Spice blend

  • Place trivet into your instant pot, Stack as many as you want to make

  • Add 1 1/2 Cups Water  

  • Make sure you're on sealing and not venting,

  • Press your manual button, high pressure 25 min with natural release.
