Strawberry Banana Shortcake
You Will Need
2 Sticks Butter softened
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
1 1/4 cup Buttermilk
4 Lg Eggs
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
1 TBSP Vanilla
1/2 cup Sour Cream
3 Cups Flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
This dessert is not only beautiful but easy to make. It's not overly sweet but is over the top good. It's a soft moist cake made with cinnamon, and our Strawberry Banana sauce (filling) It's so easy you will want to make it again and again. My family raved about it, and my husband just loved the strawberry filled banana's. as decoration lol So yummy!~
1. Add Butter, sugar, Buttermilk, 4 lg eggs, sour cream, Olive Oil, Vanilla, to a bowl (or mixer) and blend until smooth.
2. Add in baking soda and baking powder
3. Gradually add 3 cups of flour
Mix long enough to combine, but don't over mix your cake batter it will become dense. Pour batter into a oiled 9x13 baking dish, and bake at 350 for 25 to 30 min. (or until toothpick (or butter knife) comes out clean when inserted into the middle of the cake. Let cool while you make your:

In the end I added 2 sliced banana's for a Strawberry Banana Filling (Topping) to make my Cinnamon, Strawberry Banana Shortcake recipe.
Add a chocolate frosting and powdered sugar to make this amazing Cinnamon Chocolate cake.
