Anyone that loves a good Taco Bowl knows how really great they really are but when you add beans and cheese to the mix it's a whole new ball game. Your bowl becomes an irresistible dip to go with that crunchy tortilla bowl! Kids get to choose their toppings and dinner is that much simpler. Everyone is happy~ In the instant pot (or on the stove top) you can make it all in one pot. (Dishes are easier too!)

It's a win, win situation.

If you’re looking for the ultimate weeknight dinner to bring the family together, then look no further. This taco bowl recipe is quick and easy, one of my favorites! It’s even great for cooking in advance or eating leftovers the next day.  The filling is great for burritos too! Pair up with our Mexican Street Corn (using canned corn) and have a delicious meal on the table in no time that your whole family will rave about.

Additional Toppings

 

  • Onion

  • Lettuce

  • Tomato

  • Sour Cream

  • Pace Picante Sauce

  • Guacamole

  • Olives

  • Fiesta Shredded Cheese (or)

  • You could even do

  • Nacho Cheese

Directions

  • Start by spraying each taco salad mold with nonstick cooking spray, Take your tortilla's, and spray each side with spray.

  • Gently place into your molds. Bake for 17 min,

  • Halfway through take them out of the molds and flip them upside down

        (to brown the bottoms. (set aside)

  • If you are using frozen hamburger, Place a trivet into your instant pot,

  • Place hamburger on a trivet, with 1 cup water.

  • Place your lid on (make sure it's on sealing and not venting) 

  • Press manual (or pressure cook) for 25 min. (Natural Release)

  • Prep Your additional toppings while cooking hamburger.

  • When your pressure button has goes down, open lid and remove hamburger do a different bowl. crumble with a whisk (easy to do) wash instant pot

  • Place your meat back inside, add taco seasoning, re fried beans, 2/4 cup water and cheese and stir to combine. 

  • Remove pot from the instant pot so that it doesn't scorch. 

  • Set on a hot pad.

  • Place 1/2 cup of meat mixture into each taco bowl and add your favorite toppings! Enjoy~
