How do you make A Southwestern Breakfast Bowl?


Recipe Instructions:


Prepare the Seasoned Ground Beef with Black Beans:

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened, about 2-3 minutes.

  • Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes.

  • Once the ground beef is cooked, add the drained and rinsed black beans to the skillet.

  • Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the beans are heated through and the flavors are combined.

  • Remove from heat and set aside.

Cook the Scrambled Eggs:

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, pepper, and milk or water until well combined.

  • In a separate skillet, heat butter over medium heat.
