Beef, Onion and Mushroom Rice

This is a simple 10 min lunch that is not only filling but taste simply over the top good. I wanted something light, but that had flavor to it and came up with this recipe. Add hamburger, chicken or pork for an amazing dinner recipe, or just serve as a side either way, you will have a winner on the dinner table in minutes!

Peel and quarter onion (I quartered mine 3 times) add butter and onion to your instant pot on saute mode. Saute for 3 to 4 min until onion "starts" to turn translucent.

Add mushrooms and saute for 1 or 2 more minutes.

Turn your saute off, and add garlic salt, pepper, rice, beef broth and Bouillon cube. Mix well.

Place your lid on, press the rice button, (it should set for 10 min) and do an instant release. Fluff rice with fork. (remove pot to a hot pad on your counter top) so that your rice will not stick to the bottom)

You Will Need

4 TBSP Butter

1 Medium Onion

2 TBSP Garlic Salt

1/4 tsp Pepper

1 (4 oz) Can of Mushrooms

1 Cup Rice (Jasmine)

1 1/2 Cup Beef Broth

1 Beef Bullion Cube
